Sample Newsletter For Your Business – Groom Your Online Leads

Many visitors to your website are in the information gathering process. Many of these visitors are not quite ready to buy your product or service.
It’s always a good idea to offer something of value, like a free report or a coupon, to capture their email address and ideally their first name.
The more info you ask of them, the fewer people will opt-in to your newsletter. I personally like to ask for their first name along with their email address, so that I can personalize the email messages with their name in the body of my message.
It’s a proven follow up and marketing fact that you must have between 7-10 touches with the prospect to build trust and a relationship with your prospect.
If you email them every few days with helpful or informational messages then the prospect will start to trust you because you are helping them, while building the relationship, without trying to shove a sales message down their throat with every email.
Relationships are built gradually over time because you are giving them useful information, while posturing yourself as the expert. Proving that you are the go to business for their needs. It’s basic Human Psychology 101.
